Rewatching the world, one day at a time.
POOPY MCNUGGETS
I'm going to use this page for the hyerlinking music I listen to through out the days.
A weird collection for this one. The brutal vocals and speed of Hunt the Dinosaur. The beauty of growls and singing from Spiritbox. J-Punk from the ladies in Otoboke Beaver. To the deep bass sounds of Iceland’s Kaelan Mikla.
I’ve been enjoying this band called Skating Polly lately. Something about the two vocals. One has a very child like sound with her voice, and the other sounds more adult like. I appreciate the punk genre a lot as it has a lot of thrashy riffs and the energy is always there.
I dig the rap that uses a heavy beat, or that deep low beat. Death Grips is someone to mosh to.
BionicPIG is kinda funny. his jokes are enjoyable. his music is the same way. not my style, has been getting better, with decent lyrics.
nord vpn is everywhere.
Nostalgia time!
good ole cradle of filth. definitely a favorite band to see live. Nyphetamine was the first song of theirs i heard.
i need to say this. Limp Bizkit's first album is really good. give it a listen at least, and then just talk trash about every album after that. their cover of George Miceal's "Faith" was something i enjoyed much.
Six Feet Under was another band i listened to in high school. i apreciate the uniquness of Chris Barnes vocals post Cannibal Corpse. It was also interesting to learn that i knew Cannibal Corpse during the line change between Barnes and Corpsegrinder, seeing the band play live on Ace Ventura.
so i've been getting back to listening to industrial. i seem to like the cyber goth look a lot, seems very nostalgic to me. youtube does a terrible job with this genre as there seems to be a lot of underground names and eisenfunk. no where do i find bands like Combichrist or KMFDM, some of the more known names of industrial, in the playlists for industrial, but can understand for lyrical as well as instrument use.
Some new stuff out today from existing artists. Nova Rockafeller, nice beats, good flow, "edgy" lyrics.
Scars on Broadway, still standing up against Turkey for the Armenian genocide back in 1915-16. Sad story, had heard a couple years ago some people in Turkey's govt did acknowledge the genocide, only to have Erdogan quickly back pedal the statement.
And holy shit, its Burn the Priest, I guess Lamb of God's new album wasn't as successful as they thought, so Randy decided to revive BtP with a new album this year. They seem to be less heavy as they used to be, but I guess thats what happens when we have Slam to compare them to.
Might as : well throw : in some : hardbass from : DJ Blyatman
When it comes to comedy in music, only a few do it well. Psychostick is one of them. I remember being a teenager blasting "beer is good" through my speakers not even being old enough to drink, but the heavy riff is where its at. eventually obtaining the lead of Indoriphine for bass on an album, Psychostick have been the "Jackass" types in music.
Dir En Grey has been a heavy influence in my desire to explore the internet, to see what can be put out there, to see what new ideas can come from other places, other cultures. I was never really into anime, I do enjoy some of it, and it is some what of a phenomenon for people who just want to have some fun. From new artists, to hobbyists, to cosplayers, to the cons, nerds and geeks are taking over the world.
aHem....I enjoy the choreography...
What?
The lore behind Titanic Sinclair, Mars Argo and Poppy is just what conspiracy theorists want. I don't know why, but I find the smash of the creepy underground with anything pink and girly attractive. So here is a short list of my favorite songs of theirs.
Titanic Sinclair and Mars Argo with "Limousine Machine"
Mars Argo with "Runaway Runaway"
Poppy with "Lowlife"
The spread of metal is phucking amazing with a joke on idol groups from japan. Fighting the current algorithms is getting tough with copyright issues and potential "harmful" videos on youtube.
During my time on youtube, I miss a lot of the actual websites of artists, so I just Hyperlink the music videos from youtube. I will start getting into the habit of linking straight to the bands websites for purchase or more information on the bands I share.
The band Lionize is an interesting band to listen to if you're into the psychodelic genre. "Space & time"
I have a weird thing for experimental type music. Nothing too crazy, but it's random and not exactly what the typical person expects from songs. Igorrr has been around for a few years and I always enjoy seeing it show up in my list. French instruments, avant'garde style metal with amazing vocals, amazing bass lines. From their page, taking influences of bands like Meshuggah, Cannibal Corpse, Aphex Twin (you'd like it if you had robot ears...) and Bach in the list, you know you got something worth listening to. Slowly morphing into a collaboration band, with the addition of Corpo-mente, "heavy metal opera" sound, feels like you are able to see into the bands minds and thoughts.
